I will be away for the day and probably tomorrow as well because we have this tradition in Sweden called Midsommar.

It is explained here in a Ikea commercial:

Or with a more realistic version of it here:

Happy midsommar everyone Big Grin

I'm still learning new about Sweden and be surprised, people comparing to my countrymen are seems to be really happy no matter of how old are they. Smile

I like that Midsommar is about celebrating the nature not religion authorities, so... Rasmus had you sacrifice someone? If not take him and we could throw him together to the Pit of the Damned. Big Grin

Do you live in the southern hemisphere by any chance? Where I am we're closing in on summer, though it doesn't feel much like summer ATM, with 2 weeks of mostly rain.

EDIT: One more thing, Ras, don't worry about that timer counting down... I stopped it for a couple of days, do don't worry about any booms, unless they're of this variety"

If I lived anywhere nearer the south pole, I would have to kick penguins out of the road to get to work. And I feel you, if we have more than 3 warm days per summer it calls for a celebration.

It was windy and rainy as usual, but extremely fun Smile

Me and my friends were late to the barbecue, and when we got there everyone was inside. But we had to eat so this was the driest spot we could find Smile

HAHAHA, you and I are brothers-at-keyboards man. My computer is easily where I spend most of my time.

@Excess: Where are you, in a research base in Antatctica, or in some community on Cape Horn or something? If so, you definitely have it worse then me for climate. From what I hear, Cape Horn is notorious for its bad weather. Here, I at least get a 2 month break from the bad weather in July and August when we go into our dry season and get some good, hot, sunny days.

No kidding, I have actually arranged so that I am able to move my monitor out on the balcony together with my wireless mouse and keyboard just so that I am able to get some sunlight Smile

The first video is not accurate as you may understand Wink It was actually an German Ikea commercial that got banned pretty quickly. It apparently portrayed Swedish stereotypes or something, even so, I just can't stop laughing when I see it Smile

WHAT?! The sunlight doesn't burn the Swedish Count Dracula? I thought you Count Dracula types had to specifically stay out of the sunlight. Tongue
