That's weird, I only saw this once and it was related to lag that slowed the animation of the Rally Flag dropping so that it hung in the air for a bit. Is that what is happening here, or did it stay there until you cancelled it?

It stayed in air untill cancelled, I have personaly no idea how I did that - it was something related with placing flag on the highest block.

This is an extremely rare bug, I hope I will be able to catch it at some point.

Unfortunately, the flag disappears on the save where I caught it. Yet you may find it useful:

The problem is that I don't think this issue is reproducible, I believe it happens by random chance.

I'll have to set this one as will be solved with future versions, because I need to wait for the issue to come to me, and because the bug isn't gamebreaking I think it could be worth the wait.

Managed to find the issue and solved it with the next version!

What was causing the issue? I haven't ever seen this come up in any of my games.

Not 100% sure, but I know that the flag dropping height stopped with the dropping animation, and if the game had a big lag right when the dropping animation was taking place, then the dropping animation could stop, and the height was left behind.

Hmm, hard to describe Tongue

How about this:
1. Loop start
2. Update dropping animation
3. If dropping animation still active then lower flag.
4. Loop end

Now lets say that the flag is at the highest location, and we have a big lag at line 1. This will make the dropping animation finish at line 2. And at line 3 the dropping animation is no longer active and therefore the flag is still at its highest location.

That makes sense. The only time I was really experiencing any lag prior to 0.9 was during large excavations which is why I probably never saw this one.

This is an extremely rare bug, so I don't expect it to be confirmed any time soon Tongue
