Dissected & Moved - 0.8g - Reporting a Crash: Assertion failed!

I've installed the Alpha v0.8g version for the Steam platform. During the game, every time I try to open the Info pannel at rogue's cave (that I captured) the program crashes. It shows the following message:

Assertion failed!

Program: ...
File: D3DReminder2Dlayer.cpp
Line: 98
Expression: False

This problem affects on me only or it's normal? Can I solve it? The Trade function is operative in current version?

This is a well known issue. There's a similar posting here as well as in the Steam Community if I remember correctly, so it would seem this is affecting everyone in 0.8g.
