My New Idea Environment Idea - Chasm

Chasm

Info
I just thought about this idea
Deep holes originating from earthquakes. They pertain to have the deepest level the underground could reach.

Appearance
To put it simple, they are holes which I referred on Dungeon Siege II ( again ) and on other movies which has a cave setting. They vary in size from one blocked to a more massive one. For example:

Pic.1. The chasm.

Stats
Highlight: To give a more underground feel on Dwelvers. Roots cross this too.
Function: To give the player/enemy a permanent obstacle or if someone formulates a new resource item, the chasm could be the research.

Added to Ideas & Game Features list. :p

This sounds interesting.
The Chasm could be a place where You could find a new kind of resource (Imps could climb down for resource and extract some of them), esoteric powers or creatures that could come from this Chasm also.
Spec: Win 10, ATI 7800 HD, res: 1280x1024x75. I support The Venus Project & Resource-Based Economy

Now you hit the spot of my mind! That's exactly what I was thinking.
