Solved & Confirmed 0.9 - Portal is Stuck
#1
I noticed one of my portals was stuck on transport and creatures were not passing up or down here, enemy or minion. Not sure exactly what is going on so I'm attaching a save.

Solved with the next version!

This was a little tricky, the game only calculated how many creatures was allowed on the surface once a frame, and if many creatures at once decided to go through the portal at once, they all were allowed. So the first frame maybe 5 creatures was allowed, then 15 creatures took the job, and the next frame -10 creatures was allowed. This is not a big problem unless they stand right on the portal and go through the portal the same frame as they got allowed to go through it.

Thank you for the save game Mello, it was very easy to reproduce the issue with it!

Dwelvers alpha 0.9b released, this one is solved but need confirmation!

Well I can't reproduce it now in the 0.9b version using my save game from 0.9. This was something I was seeing generally after long play times, but I haven't really spent as much time with 0.9b with the Storage Rooms still all jammed. Makes it kinda hard to expand without starvin out your minions. I'm sure it's fixed, but I would kinda like to see how well portals maintain when you have a really large amount of Imps all over.

You know you can use Alt+A to add Allies, and Alt+E to add Enemies Wink

Thanks for the bump because I forgot to reply back to this. So I decided to not go about it the hard way shortly after and just load up the map with creatures the cheating way. I didn't notice this as a problem even after flooding the underworld with creatures and sending them to attack above ground. I wish I got a count of how many creatures I made before I lagged out the game to a crash because it was a lot!
