Already reported 0.9e - Production chain issues?
#1
After i build the farm, kitchen, and pub, everything will go fine for a little bit, then the imps just stop doing anything. Like the fields will be unharvested, the bread and beer will stack up, but they continue to dig and do other crap.

Is there a way to permanently assign workers to do a task? Or am i missing something key to the production chain?

No this is a part of a bug introduced to 0.9e. Unfortunately we'll have to wait until a patch is released.

Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed too. I had a day of clearing solved bugs and finding new ones yesterday, but I really couldn't get a map to generate that didn't flood within 10 minutes so I can't even play at the moment. I'm sure considering the functionality of the current state of the game, Rasmus will get us a fix soon.

I have released the 0.9e-2 hotfix version now. Please confirm if this issue has been solved with it Smile And sorry for the delay, everything has been a little chaotic here Sad

I will mark this one as already reported here: http://forum.dwelvers.com/showthread.php?tid=1519

hard to confirm the water issue has been solved due to the production chain still not working. for the 10mins or so that i played i had no water issues, but did have a cave in close to home (in the direct circle around the home location).

re: production chain. I had 2 2x3 plot farms with 2 wells, 2 flour making thingies.. room next door was cookery with 2 vats and 2 baking tables.

farms produced lots of antroot, but no antroot was being made into flour. so i sold both flour urns and rebuilt them. they worked for about a minute then stopped again.

Same with cookery. there was flour on the ground for the piggeh's to use, but everytime they bent over to pick one up, they changed thier minds and checked on the vats instead. The vats worked, they made lots of beer, but the beer wasn't being delivered to the bar. i sold both the bread making tables and put them back in again.. they both worked for one loaf, then stopped again. Likewise the bread sat on the floor and wasn't delivered to the bar. It would only be a matter of time before the orcs ran rampant, so i quit at that point to let you know my findings.

Yeah, the issue is not fixed for me either...

I was going to upload a save where everyone stopped working, but i can't find where the save files are located.

You can find it by going to %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Dwelvers\saves. If you copy and paste that into an Explorer address bar or the search frame in the Start Menu, it'll take you right there. I suggest you zip it then upload it to Dropbox, Google Drive, or something similar to link here. I already posted a similar save, but it never hurts to get as much info to resolve the issue as possible.
