#1
i had a cave in.. i built a ladder up to the road i had up above. But the imps wouldn't use it. when i sold the road tile on the top of the ladder, they started using the ladder, and i could add the road tile back in again.

Is this reproducible for you? Could you catch the bug in a savegame?

I can't reproduce this issue. I will have to set it to more reports needed unless you have a save game or have more details on how it can be reproduced. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have. When you build a ladder by clicking on a spot, it works fine. When you hold the mouse button down to select the facing direction is when they break.

I am still not able to reproduce it, could you give me step by step instructions on this? Including screenshot if possible, it would be very helpful Smile

I can provide screenshots when i get home.

1) channel out an area so that a ladder is the only way in.

2) find a spot where the ladder can fit in multiple spots.

3) when you build the ladder, press the mouse button down to select an orientation.

4) if i am remembering this right, no one is able to use the ladder.

I noticed something similar yesterday evening when I was playing where a ladder was the only way out and there were two ladders on opposing sides of the tile that was 2 tiles high. Didn't notice it until I heard some Imps complaining.

I found the issue, it was precisely what you said simrobert2001, it didn't work everytime, but if I kept on building that ladder it stopped being climbable at some occasions. The reason is that when the player forces the building direction, it happens at some occasions that the pathfinding check over the ladder tile got executed before the ladder rotated to the right direction.

Anyway, solved with the next version Smile
