The "fear" was completely removed on the surface world, it has not been added. If they get afraid they will now just go back down the portal.
Solved with the next version!

Hmm, so that means they can go back to portal than again to surface and than go again back to dungeon when got attacked instead of immediate counter-attack, even if they for example cut trees in a small group of other workers around? I noticed sometimes enemies when are in pursuit of my creatures ends at the portal and don't go back from where they have been spawned by map, like they wait for any of my creatures to return so than they can kill them easily. I mean I don't mind Imps escaping, but Orcs and Rogues could counter attack and even call friendly creatures to fight in radius of 5 tiles if the enemy number is small, what do you think?

Works fantastic now, creatures responds when attacked, however they do not continue their job which they did before attack, but's another story. Solved!
