Not solved yet 0.12.0.0 - After won battle creatures ordered to dig tiles keep being in fight
#1
Like in thread title. Fortunately after they dug out tiles their battle status changes disappeared, changed to proper one. On the picture below I ordered to dig out tiles to the south, but suddenly an enemy Dwarf (dead on the picture, pointed with arrow) attacked and lost to my 3 Orcs marching nearby. No Rally Flag put, Orcs were just on their way to dig tiles.

Attacking enemies goes before anything else. I've tried to spawn enemies in the path of orcs being on the way to digging but the orcs always starts attacking the enemy.
I can't reproduce it, but if you use alt+E on a tile you can spawn an enemy and try to reproduce the issue you found.

Yes Orcs always attacks enemy and when they beat the enemy they are still in battle mode, but they shouldn't because battle was over. The battle mode ends when they dig out all tiles they were programmed to dig and only than.

EDIT: I thrown an enemy Dwarf into the middle of group of creatures, I also spotted Piggehs attacking the other enemies and won the battle - it seems that after a battle whatever fighting before creature is doing next it keeps it's battle status (not job status) for about 15-20 seconds and than battle status just disappear. Nonetheless shouldn't that battle status disappear right after end of the battle? So I can say it's false alarm, but still creature's battle status lasts too long, it should disappear right after the battle, otherwise it creates confusion to a player.
